This Droid X app brings you excellent and comprehensive baseball coverage on your Android smartphone. You can listen to live audio, see live scores and statistics, as well as watch game highlights right from within the app. It also pulls in fresh news items and lets you stay up-to=date on all the details surrounding the MLB. The app comes with a very handy widget that adds significantly to the ease-of-use.
The audio streaming quality is excellent on a Wi-Fi connection but can be a little spotty on 3G. It works well in most scenarios though, and trying to connect and bring up the audio a couple of times will usually let you settle down to a good stream pretty quickly. The video highlights are crisp and high-quality, but suffers the same problem as with audio over 3G (works great over Wi-Fi though). Overall, this is a solid MLB app that brings excellent all-round coverage to your Motorola Droid X.
